Although I have not written much about it, the Build-Up into 2024 (since 2017) was fixated on the April 8th Solar Eclipse.

For now, I will keep this simple. The momentum since this time is still running its course; the transitions set in motion during these years are now coming into clarity.

I had started carving the bison skull in January while still in Southern Illinois. An issue had arisen once again with my partner, and I transitioned down to Texas in February.

I stayed in Texas to experience the Solar Eclipse, accepting the fact that this was where I was meant to be; as the Eclipse Season build up, I had created “Solar Flare” and “Spectrum’s Totality.” Within one week of the Eclipse’s passing, I went to reset and integrate at the Grand Canyon. At this point I only had $200, and no idea of where to go- but San Diego continued to come up into my mind despite the fact that I have never been there before.

So I went to San Diego; driving all day into the evening, I set my map on Ocean Beach as the destination- recognizing that I love the ocean and also the beach.

When I arrived, I wanted to simply put my feet in the water and sit with the moon- until I saw a group of people with a bonfire, so I went over to them. When thing into another, I was with them until 3am- which then transitioned to an invitation for a sweat lodge the next night. This man bought two canvas prints of my work, but then began to be sexually suggestive in his conversations.

[it is worth noting that he is ex-military; a common pattern that I have observed: homo-eroticism + military history, perversion of brotherhood where intimacy can only relate to sexual urges]

Anyway, I could go on and on regarding the journey through San Diego, how it led into my return to Southern Illinois and the events which transpired from then into 2025.

But like I said, I will keep this simple for now.
