Carved Bison Skull
This bison skull came from Bison Bluffs in Southern Illinois. I became friendly with Margaret, and bought a skull from her to begin to explore bone carving. Although I did one deer skull as practice, I consider this to be my first official carving.
I would like to create more skull carvings in the future, but am unsure of how to connect with an interested audience- and, as you might guess, I have very limited space in my life considering all of my possessions are consolidated into a Ford Transit Connect. And so, this skull is very intimate and very personal in my life.
As noted, it was completed February 26th, 2024; these photos were taken August 3rd, 2025.
