Standing on it’s own, “Momentum Metanoia” was started on the Summer Solstice (June 21st) 2019 in Santa Cruz, CA. It was completed on December 2nd, 2019 in a bizarre New Age “Temple” named Anam Cara; it existed somewhere south of San Francisco, but I don’t remember the name of the area. This artwork brought about significant change in my life, and is the only thing which I still have in possession from before January 25th, 2020.

I recognize that the price is grand; in my opinion, this signifies the initiation into relationship with a person who deeply connects with my message and my work. Who recognizes the symbolism and understands the ceremony; this is not an artwork to be seen as a trophy to hang on some wall, to tell somebody about in an effort to be validated. It is a catalyst, a step towards the Vision, an anchor in both your life and my own. It is a part of who I am, and asks for an offering of similar kind from the other who comes to claim it.
As esoteric as this sounds, this is a unique sentiment that is tied with both “Momentum Metanoia” as well as “Dawn’s Early Light” due to my personal history surrounding their creation. Although all of my creative works are a part of me, these were linked to substantial transitions within my own life path. Within the layers of the mandala, I wrote Sanskrit prayers which are intended to bless those who receive “Momentum Metanoia” with a genuine desire to connect. There is an internal prayer, known as “Ajai Alai” (Invincible, Indestructible) as well as an external prayer that I blended myself. I do not speak Sanskrit or have a deep knowledge of its history, but there was a fascination at this particular time in my life. To follow are the translations and the messages written on the back.
